Welcome! My name is Teresa (otherwise known as Tata). I am the founder and owner of Tata TopShelf. The name “Tata” comes from a nickname a friend gave me and the name “Top Shelf” comes from a nickname my co-workers gave me since I only drink and mix cocktails using top shelf liquor. That’s right! Only the finest for Tata!! So you put the two names together and BOOM!! …Tata TopShelf was created.
At the age of 10, my dad had me slinging his favorite drink, 7 & 7, made with Seagram 7 & 7Up. Little did I know that that would help launch my private bartending journey. I started to work on weekends as a bartender in restaurants, bars, at sporting events, music festivals, weddings, corporate parties, small cocktail parties, you name it, I worked them all. I quickly realized why my dad loved to bartend. He must have enjoyed the interactions with so many unique and interesting people as I do. In 2015, I launched Tata TopShelf, a premier private bartending service. As a private bartender, I enjoyed the smaller social settings of cocktail parties, not to mention the opportunity to connect with my client and their guests. In 2019, I created my brand BarTata® | Premium Quality Home Bar Products, Glassware, and Accessories. Sourced using the best materials from reputable manufacturers. BarTata® products were created and designed to showcase practicality and efficiency in bar equipment and tools with multi-purpose uses. Tata TopShelf looks for alternative ways to preserve the environment by using product packaging that can be used for other functions. >>Check out my 4-piece Copper Finish Boston Shaker with Mixing Glass wrapped with biodegradable bubble wrap packed inside a burlap tote bag
